#PEPics is back!

Last year, I invited all of you wonderful #physed people online to take part in a photo challenge called #PEPics.

The idea was that each weekday in a month would have a theme for a picture. People participating in the challenge could share their picture on Twitter using the #pepics hashtag. The goal of the challenge was to take a picture for every theme day in the month.

This February, I’d like to bring #pepics back. However, I’d also like to encourage you to submit not only pictures, but videos as well.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, Vine is a new mobile service from Twitter that lets you create and share beautiful, short looping videos. It kind of looks and feels like an Instagram for video. The service allows you to cross-post to Twitter, so feel free to create some #pepics entries using Vine (don’t forget to include the hashtag and toggle the “share to Twitter” feature!)

After the challenge is complete, I will be going over all the #pepics entries and will be making something cool for all of you to freely download. However, I’ll only be able to complete this secret project of mine if I get enough entries, so you better get posting!

So, without further ado, here is the schedule for this year’s #pepics challenge:
