The “Bring Learning Back” Campaign
by Joey Feith
If you were lucky enough to attend this year’s National AAHPERD Conference in North Carolina, you may have seen a few t-shirts branded with ThePhysicalEducator.com’s logo floating around.
For a long time now, I’ve been wanting to design shirts as a means to a) give people who wish to support ThePhysicalEducator.com an easy way to do so, and b) help get the word out about the amazing, dedicated teachers from around the world who are helping rethink what can be done in physical education.
The shirts in North Carolina were a test, and now it is time to launch our first Teespring campaign.
In light of recent articles that bash on #physed and generalize it to the stereotypical methods of old, I wanted to design a shirt with a simple yet powerful saying that represented the work that the amazing #physed community is trying to get done.
Here is what I came up with:
I’m so excited about this and I really hope you are too. I wanted to create a high quality shirt that we can all be proud to wear.
I’ve set the campaign goal to 50 shirts (I already reserved mine!), which means that at least 50 people need to reserve a shirt for the shirt to be printed (you’re not charged unless the campaign is a go). The campaign ends on June 3rd 2013, and once it ends the shirt can no longer be ordered (make sure you get yours!)
I’m so grateful for all of the support I’ve received in the past, and I really hope you are willing to take this next step in supporting ThePhysicalEducator.com and let people know that you are here to bring learning back to #physed.
Thank you all so much in advance!
Let’s do this!
