About this Resource

These jump rope cards were created to help my students master a variety of jump rope skills and standard one outcomes. I used these cards together with the jump rope ladder which was included in your download package. Using the ladder, students got to explore the different skills while trying to work their way to the top. The cards (which I printed and laminated) were placed in cone holders throughout the gym. Students could use the visuals and text on the cards to help them understand what the skill looked like. However, it’s always best to see a skill in action, which is why I added QR codes which link to videos of me performing each skill! Having this system set up in my lessons increased opportunities for student choice and independence, all while giving me more time to work one-on-one with the students who needed extra support!
